Today, youth recognize the fact that they can truly make an impact in the world, but to do it right, they must be connected to God.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and around the world, is seriously intentional about meeting the needs of our youth and young adults. The Bible says, "If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themsleves, and pray...then will I hear from heaven and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14). That is where Just Claim It, Ignition, and Leadership SUMMIT work as 1voice 2gether -- at the 3rd NAD/World Youth Prayer Congress.
1voice 2gether is our mission theme for Youth Ministries in the NAD during the next 5 years. Although youth ministires may have different faces and appearances, across the NAD, we want to be united in 1voice 2gether as we work to establish a youth/young adult ministries presence in every church. From this mission theme will echo 5 Pivots or foundations called P.E.R.M.S. that will guide our focus.
During these four days, delegates can fill their spiritual cups through prayer initiatives, community mission projects, evangelism outreach, teens preaching/testimonies, mass choir/orchestra, workshops/seminars, Sabbath youth rally/parade, and recreation. For leaders, the Leadership SUMMIT provides workshops that provide Basic Staff Training (BST) for Pathfinder and Adventurer ministries, Adventurer Leadership Growth Training (ALG) modules, PLA, PIA and the new Pathfinder Staff Training Certification program, service and creative leadership training, in order to guide our churches towards interacting with, and involving our communities -- all for the kingdom. For youth, Just Claim It communities -- all for the kingdom. For youth, Just Claim It offers music, teen speakers, activities, and growth seminars focused on spiritual growth, service, and student leadership. For young adults, Ignition provides networking, service training, and relevant topics that affect the integrated technological lives of college students and young professionals.
Thousands of lives have been changed and many churches and communities impacted as a result of the Just Claim It prayer movement, Just Claim It awaits another opportunity to challenge youth and young adults to accept the promise of Acts 1:7-8 "...But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you..." We believe this power will be realized in the lives of youth who are connected with God in a prayer relationship.
If you are a leader of youth/young adults, rally your youth together and lead them to the 3rd NAD/World Youth Prayer Congress. If you are a youth, rally your peers together and be determined that nothing will prevent you from trying the Just Claim It experience for yourself along with approximately 8,000 others. Jesus says "I have prayed for you..."

The Holy Spirit is being poured out, Just Claim It, Ignition, and the leadership SUMMIT are working 2gether to provide spiritual growth, training, motivation, and encouragement to our youth and young adults, along with their leadership teams. We invite you to join over 8,000 youth and young adults, ages 13-35, at the 3rd NAD/World Youth Prayer Congress, March 7-11, 2012, at the Joseph S. Koury Convention Center and Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
